Saturday Half Day Workshop: October and November
The half-day workshop is being held to provide information regarding Delaware State Employees’ Pension Plan benefits and Social Security benefits.

Members must obtain maintenance medications as 90 day fills at a 90-day participating pharmacy or Medco-by-Mail to avoid paying a penalty after a third 30 day fill. Additional information is available by calling:

'CAPS' Information:
Retiree Comprehensive Annual Statements will be mailed on January 12, 2009. The information contained on these statements will be as of December 31, 2008.
Active employee Comprehensive Annual Statements will be mailed in mid March 2009. The pension plans included in this mailing will be State Employees’ Plan, Legislator Plan, New State Police Plan, and the Judiciary Plan. The information contained in these statements is as of December 31, 2008.
Comprehensive Annual Statements for the County/Municipal Police and Firefighter's Pension Plan, the County/Municipal General Employees' Pension Plan, DIAMOND STATE PORT and the Delaware Volunteer Firemen's Pension Plan will be mailed in April 2009. The information contained in these statements will also be as of December 31, 2008.
If you have any questions regarding data on the Annual Statement, please read the instructions in the respective box and forward the request to your organization's Human Resources Office or the Office of Pensions, as appropriate. John Hancock Long-Term Care
New State of Delaware benefit-eligible employees can enroll within 90 days from date
of hire with guaranteed acceptance (no proof of good health
required). Employees can enroll after the initial enrollment
period but will be required to submit a paper enrollment
application and provide evidence of good health when applying.
Approval for coverage is subject to medical underwriting.

employees can enroll within 90 days from date
of hire. After the initial enrollment period, if
employee wants to enroll in the vision plan they will have to wait
until the next annual benets open enrollment period. Binding
Election - once you sign up, you may not drop coverage during
the plan year.
ARAG Group Legal Plan
New State of Delaware benefit-eligible
employees can enroll within 30 days from date
of hire. After the initial enrollment period, if
employee wants to enroll in the group legal
plan they will have to wait until the next
annual benefits open enrollment period. Binding Election for ARAG- once you sign up, you may not
drop coverage during the plan year.
